About Me

I’m like your average girl next door, and I dream of having my own fairy tale, prince and castle. Except that I am a lot smarter, and I know that fairy tales only happen to the already rich, beautiful, and powerful. Money makes things happen, we all know that, but some of us choose to live in perpetual denial, and hope against hope that one day, a fairy godmother will appear with her fairy dusted wand and make our Cinderella dreams come true.

Which is why I have decided to settle for a short fat bald poor not-very-good-looking not-very-intelligent chap for a boyfriend. In case you’re wondering, he isn’t old and dying and about to leave his multi billion dollar inheritance to me. He’s only 25 and earns a measly sum for a salary. Well, I figured if Fairy Godmother were to appear, I’d already have a prop for her to turn into my prince. That would save me the trouble of having to keep a regular stash of pumpkins, mice and other assorted fruits/pets in my cellar. Not that I have a cellar, dammit!! Because my unprince-y boyfriend won’t be affording one. Argh.

Unglam boyfriend aside, I have pretty high standards for everything else I believe in. Like food – I’m really critical about the taste, cleanliness and quality of anything to be ingested. And I only use original software and music (whenever possible but sometimes those prices fall just a dollar over what my self righteousness is worth and then I’m bought). I try to keep all my electronics pure white, and I absolutely must have a queen sized bed all to myself when I sleep. I like to personalize all my possessions with stickers and icons, and I dislike sharing. I love Hello Kitty, Baby Disneys, Pink stuff, Maccies, Juicy Couture, and Pink Turtles. I also love green calculators, picture books, pretty cards and funky electronic gadgets.

I can speak English, Mandarin, Japanese, French, and several other cool languages, but usually only limited to the words you cannot find in a student’s dictionary. I can play the violin, piano and erhu, but that really depends on your definition of ‘play’. I love sports, but only if I’m sitting safely on the spectator stands.

I am also poor and ungainfully employed. Anyone interested in changing things for me?
