Bak Chor Mee @ Block 112

Because we stay so near each other, we often meet up for dinner at this coffee shop near our home. Yes we are old school heartlanders – the poor and happy kind.

The pictures of the food don’t look very good because I only remembered to whip out my phone after I’ve dug into them, so I’ve decided to leave them off the front page.

I love the guo tiao – I’ve been having it for like 3 days in a row now. They have your regular bak chor mee, as well as pork chop noodles and meatball noodles, all with the same noodle and soup base.

They taste really good, except for the lard. Man, I hate the idea of lard, even if it does make the noodles taste that much better. -_-;;

It’s yum, I’m telling you. Yum.
